Criminal Damage (theft or burglary)
Unfortunately theft or burglary is not an uncommon event in the home or commercial property, and its effects can be traumatic. The day after my last tenant left I visited the property to find that it had been completely trashed – criminals had ripped out every piece of copper piping, and in the process had smashed up the kitchen, ripped up floor boards, ripped out the boiler, leaving a solitary pipe gushing water everywhere.
